We all have roles to play – don’t we? We play the role of a parent, spouse, lover, worker, employee, employer, participant, spectator………..The list goes on and on. But in each role we assume, are we operating in the role as ourselves, or are we merely playing the part of who we feel we are supposed to be? If we are not acknowledging who we truly are, then we are not fully living in the moment, and therefore the role we engage in at any given time will be only a smoke screen, a facade, a mere mask of our true and honest self. To fully preform, we need to fully know and understand ourselves, otherwise we are just rehearsing our lines on an empty stage.
